Dr. Chau chak wing building

2022/11/9

Frank Gehry designed the Dr Chau Chak Wing Building at UTS opened in early 2015. This is Gehry's first architectural work in Australia. The building has two distinct facades, one of which is undulating in brick, following the tradition of sandstone architecture in the city of Sydney. The other facade is made up of large curved glass panels that reflect and distort the image of the surrounding buildings.

Gehry's wing building looks like a crumpled paper bag. In this project, 32,000 special bricks had to be built by hand. In the project, our company participated in the drawing deepening and product production of twisted steel structure and brick bracket

▪ Our company participated in the production of steel structure components (steel structure bending and forming) for this project. The waterproof membrane was attached to the outside of the galvanized iron plate, with built-in sound insulation cotton, and the fasteners fixed stainless steel brick cards. The whole plate was formed and then delivered.

The precision requirement of steel frame bending plate is very high, which makes the GPS positioning and laser positioning splicing successfully completed.
